Breast Specialty Training Committee

Breast Specialty Training Committee oversees ASBD participation in a collaborative effort involving the American Society of Breast Disease, the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology, which has developed comprehensive guidelines for training breast fellows.

Consensus Committee

Consensus Committee reviews and considers consensus on excellence in breast health care and multidisciplinary breast disease management and develops practice guidelines, as appropriate, to support the work of the Society's membership. The Committee maintains oversight responsibility for the Society's comprehensive Clearinghouse on Breast Disease.

Education Program Committee

Education Program Committee plans the educational and scientific programs of the Society. It oversees the work of the various committees of the Society appointed to development specific programming such as for the Annual Symposium.

Membership Committee

Membership Committee develops and implements plans to grow the Society membership and to ensure that member needs are met. The chairperson of the Membership Committee determines eligibility of candidates for membership based on criteria established by the Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
